This template gives the IPA code for Vietnamese initial consonant onsets (consonants that appear in front of each word). Currently, only lowercase consonants are accepted, and only the Hanoi accent is accounted for.

The Hanoi accent differs from standard one with the consonants "r", "tr", and "s".

Usage: {{VieC1|xyz}} gives the IPA code if xyz is a valid Vietnamese initial consonant onset and nothing otherwise.
